Reinsurance is a new source of income for us. It is less correlated with our Structured Finance and
Principal Finance Business and provides an important source of stability to our revenue base.
Crane Reinsurance Limited
was established in March 2006 as 100% owned subsidiary of FinTech Global Inc to underwrite reinsurance,
primary held by companies with whom we have business relationships to cover superior insurance risk such as
fire insurance and household insurance.
We expect to receive a stable flow of income from these risk takings which have sufficient risk spread.
We take particular care to control risk.
We also arrange re-reinsurance of possible disasters using our experience in the offshore reinsurance markets,
built through our past credit enhancement business transactions.
We take a proactive approach to this business, balancing the capital commitment with the levels of risk taken.
In 2008 September, Crane Reinsurance Limited entered into reinsurance underwriting agreement between Lloyd’s syndicate 382,
part of Hardy Underwriting Bermuda Limited.
